The debut of Persona Records sublabel, Express, is also the comeback of the italian duo from Rimini, Manuel Folgiata and Marco Tonni aka Touane.
The 3 tracks are the result of a new way of working with small studio enviroments, using mostly extenal machines and external mixers for summing audio inputs.
As Nuel pursued during the last months many efforts to forge a more analog and raw sound, thanks to his collecting innovative sound generators, Touane added to this approach the smothness of the edits and his abiity with sequencers: the effect can be heard on those 3 clubby and harsh sounding pieces of techno music.
The track names, where the date of the file is the title itself, say everything about this new attitude: pure techno tracks, so the artists are not trying to make up a concept and adapt the music to it, just let the 3 different sessions speak for themselves.
